The Core Mat I program is the foundation of the Power Pilates method. Each subsequent program builds upon the information learned during this course. During this weekend you will learn to teach the 18 beginner level mat exercises and be introduced to Power Pilates teaching tools, philosophy, and teaching formula. Every student new to Power Pilates must start with Core Mat I. Core Mat I & II are required to progress to the Comprehensive program.

Pedro Grey
Pedro Grey was born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and has lived in New York City since 1998. Pedro is an independent Audio Engineer who studied audio recording at SAE Institute New York where he was awarded a professional degree in audio engineering in early 2006.  Pedro found Pilates after suffering from a painful lower back injury. After experiencing the dramatic improvement due to his work in Pilates, Pedro was inspired to help others and became a Pilates Instructor himself. Pedro has since been teaching Pilates at Power Pilates and to private clients throughout New York City.
